The Brocher Foundation meetings for Uni3 seniors and Seniors clubs neighboring communities. These conferences and discussions give participants the opportunity to learn about current debates on ethics and health, while promoting their social and cultural development.
Although the activities are aimed exclusively at senior citizens, the themes addressed, at the crossroads of science, health and ethics, concern society as a whole. These encounters enable us to keep abreast of major contemporary issues and enrich our collective thinking.

How does consumer demand for child sexual abuse material online in Switzerland fuel the exploitation of children around the world?

Between 1% and 2% of the population has pedophilic tendencies. The rise of new technologies, particularly livestreaming, makes it easier for them to act on their urges with children in disadvantaged countries such as the Philippines. Can they be cured? How can we prevent them from doing harm? Should we encourage vigilante citizens who set out to "hunt down pedophiles"? These are some of the questions that journalist Julie Zaugg will attempt to answer.
