"I've become a vegetable. "I'm useless". "I'm no longer capable of doing anything". "I don't know who I am anymore". These are just a few of the thoughts and complaints of people with dementia that call into question their human dignity, dignity of merit, dignity of moral stature, and dignity of identity. Why and how should we care for these people in the face of this loss of dignity? That's the subject of this symposium.

Uni3, in partnership with the Brocher Foundation, offers this lecture followed by a discussion with Prof. Bernard Baertschi. The event will conclude with a buffet lunch starting at 12 noon.

Admission for members of the public not in the above-mentioned categories is CHF 10.
Tickets are on sale at the Uni3 secretariat, rue De-Candolle 2, Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm.
Tickets can be ordered by email (by the day before at the latest, for instant payment) from uni3@unige.ch. An invoice will be sent to you in this way. Once payment has been received, you will receive a confirmation email which will serve as your admission ticket. You can present it to the volunteers at the conference entrance.
