Kids Camps: My Planet, My Health

Kids Camps: My Planet, My Health

My Planet, My Health

This week-long science camp for children, held multiple times a year, focuses on teaching young participants about the environment in a fun and engaging way. It’s the perfect chance to enjoy summer in a beautiful park by the lake in Hermance.

The program offers a variety of activities on biodiversity and the importance of caring for our planet, all guided by a dedicated team to encourage development, social skills, and enjoyment. From creative games to nature explorations, each day is a unique adventure. Children dive into topics such as biodiversity, recycling, eco-energy, bio-indicators, and the lake ecosystem.

The program is run in French at the Brocher Foundation by CPV Camps and welcomes children aged 7 to 10.

Future in All Genders Day

The Future in All Genders Day (organized by the Department of Public Instruction), run at the Foundation on November 10 2022, focussed on the future and the many professional perspectives available to girls and boys today. Participants were immersed in various professional fields and discovered a range of life paths.

Health and children’s rights

In 2023, the Foundation hosted children aged 8 to 11 for a week, in partnership with the MJSR (Ma Jeunesse Suisse Romande). The program focused on the connection between children’s rights and health. Topics such as disability, child bullying, children’s right to health and global health were addressed in order to define how children’s rights influence access to and promotion of health. The children were able to enjoy our beautiful grounds by the lake during the sweltering summer.
