MY PLANET MY HEALTH
This week of science camps for children will focus on the link between children’s rights and health. Children will have the opportunity to learn about and question issues related to health in the broadest sense through the prism of health rights. Dimensions such as disability, child bullying, children’s right to health and global health will be addressed in order to define how children’s rights influence access to and promotion of health. From an emancipatory perspective, different contexts will be mobilised in order to identify the issues at stake in these themes both throughout the world and in the Swiss or Geneva context, raising children’s awareness of their rights in a transversal manner.
The organisation of these scientific camps will be set up in collaboration with the Interfaculty Centre for Children’s Rights of the University of Geneva.
This week will be a way to exchange with the children on the methods and activities that will be implemented in a playful and friendly spirit.
If your children are between 10 and 12 years old, they are welcome at the Brocher Foundation!
